  • Ashley Phillips, PhD

Ashley Phillips, PhD Founder and President

Dr. Phillips is a licensed clinical psychologist whose work centers on children and families, especially mothers and daughters. She is also a former elementary school teacher and special educator. Dr. Phillips has taught as a professor at the university level for over a decade. She is also published in nationally recognized research journals in the areas of gifted education, alternative education, and the mother-daughter transmission of body image and eating disorders.

Dr. Phillips lives in Madera with her husband and young son. They aspire to have a self-sufficient homestead that could help feed neighbors and friends! When she isn’t running Rewilding Psychology, Dr. Phillips is most likely parked in her driveway trying to capture a minute to read in peace. If she is lucky, she is out on a hike with her family.

  • Nicholas Phillips, JD

Nicholas is an attorney barred in several states and is also a former teacher! Nicholas (Ashley’s husband) was not forcibly included in this NPO but enthusiastically helped get it off of the ground! His expertise in business law has been invaluable in running this organization.
