Rewilding mental health means removing barriers to wellness placed by modern ways of living.

About Rewilding Psychology, Inc.

We are a non-profit organization

Rewilding Psychology, Inc. is a 503(c)3 nonprofit organization.

We aim to promote mental wellbeing

At the end of the day we are a mental health organization! Our aim is to promote psychological wellbeing. We are ran by psychologists and other mental health minded volunteers.

Rewilding

Rewilding is like taking nature back to its roots. It means restoring places where wild plants and animals can live and roam freely, just like they used to a long time ago. We believe mental health for we humans is the same! We aim to take our psyches back to its roots. That means, like plants and animals, we need to relearn how to live and roam freely use like we used to a long time ago.

Lifeways

Lifeways is a way of living that's all about embracing a more natural and holistic lifestyle. It focuses on connecting with nature, nurturing our well-being, and finding balance in our daily routines for a happier and healthier life.

Think about how humans used to live: connected and communal. Wisdom, insight, and a connection to the greater world was lost in technology. We home to restore some of the best of the lifeways past (and present).

Nature

Nature is key to rewilding. We live in nature! We are nature! We cannot divorce human beings from nature and the reciprocal relationships we form with our outer world.

It is more than just being outside, though that is probably the most important aspect of how we integrate nature into our mission. It’s about being aware and in touch with nature, the natural cycles, and the world around us. It is also about stewardship and aligned living.

Community

Modern ways of living have slowly isolated us. We depend on giving and receiving in our own communities. Our mission is to help facilitate community so that we can foster a sense of belonging, purpose, and usefulness.

Learning to restructure and revive communities is a strong focus in our mission.

We also depend on community for the donations and contributions to help others. As an organization, we are not divorced from community!
