The Wild Child Society
Why should my child be wild(er)?!
Psychological science emphasizes the vital role of nature in children's development. Exposure to nature fosters improved cognitive function, reduced stress, and enhanced emotional well-being. It encourages creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deeper sense of connection with the environment, all of which contribute to healthier mental and emotional growth.
What is The Wild Child Society?
Our early childhood program has been thoughtfully crafted to guide your child through an immersive curriculum enriched with seasonal songs, captivating stories, artistic endeavors, essential life skills, and unstructured creative play in nature.
Enrolling your child in our program grants you, as parents, special access to the Wild Child Society curriculum. This invaluable resource includes a treasury of original songs and stories, along with inspiring craft projects, outdoor activity ideas, delectable recipes, and personalized guidance from Dr. Phillips on how to sustain your child's rewilding journey and mental health within the comfort of your own home.
The Wild Child Society is led by licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Ashley Phillips and is a psychoeducational group for children according to their age groups. Please be sure and double check recommended age ranges for each activity.
